Power Skating Camps

Fast and fun, like hockey!

We take a hockey approach in making our Power Skating program fun and fast paced and have found this to be a perfect formula for making players faster and stronger while developing balance, speed and agility.

Skating is the most important skill in hockey, but training to skate better doesn‘t have to be boring (we use pucks)!

Camp Focus:

  • forwards strides
  • turns
  • crossovers both forwards and backwards
  • backwards skating
  • pivots
  • Mohawk transitions
  • speed
  • strength development

Duration

The Novice / Atom Camp includes 1.5 hrs of ice time and 1 hour of off-ice training per day.

Atom /Peewee include 1.75 hours of ice time per day and 1 hour of off-ice training.

Off-Ice Program

The off-ice program will focus on core strength, agility, balance and speed.
